It seems that 60-year-old Jan David Clark of Odessa, Texas, decided his 59-year-old wife was possessed by the devil. So instead of going to a psychiatrist, or a priest, he did what any other redblooded American male would do.
He performed a do-it-yourself exorcism.
During the course of that exorcism, while he was holding his wife face-down on their bedroom floor, she died.
He claims that what really happened is that the devil went into his body, and that’s why she died.
He called a friend to tell them what had happened, and the friend called the cops. When the cops got there, they found his wife face-down on the bedroom floor, wrapped in a bedsheet with a cross and a sword on top.
Beelzebub was nowhere to be seen, though. It is unknown whether he ultimately fled the scene, or if he is still hiding in the husband’s body.
The husband, who has been charged with murder, is being held on $300,000 bond.

It is a shame that he blew through all of his inheritance. If he had kept it, he could have blamed the butler. As it is, all that he could say was that the demon did it.
We really need someone to write the true story! It would make an great book. Few people have the entire story. It is so wild that most people would not believe that it is fact and not fiction! Power, money, sex, religion and total insanity: what more could you want?
ElfNinosMom, you have good results in to blacken the exorcism.
Well done!
