Cyberstalker

Some of you may have noticed that I have deleted a post I made yesterday. The reason for this is that I seem to have acquired a cyberstalker. Again.
It’s not the first cyberstalker I’ve had, and I’m sure it won’t be the last. However, I’m not going to make their stalking easier for them, either.
I just thought I’d explain why the post was deleted, lest anyone think the post was deleted for some other reason.
I was wondering about that…
I figured you might be wondering. I’m so sorry about that, but I need to make sure there’s no identifying information on here.
I had a real stalker once. I knew him briefly from childhood, had gone to third grade with him. He had moved away, and I never saw him again or even thought about him again, until one day when I was 20, he showed up at my grandmother’s house to ask her where I lived. She told him the general area, but pretended not to know exactly where because she thought he was odd. He knocked on hundreds of doors until he found me, believe it or not.
That one actually thought that he could make me marry him, when I was already married and he knew it, because he met my husband. I was in college at the time, and I was telling a professor about it while we were standing in the hallway by a window, smoking cigarettes (yes, I’m showing my age by revealing that, hehehe) and he thought it was just my imagination. Then I looked across the street, and there he was in his car, with binoculars trained on me. The professor talked to the Dean, and he made sure I always had an escort on campus after that.
Then when I was at work, he would call and tell people there that I was going away with him, and was going to marry him, etc. Apparently he thought he was giving my boss notice that I was leaving my job.
That’s when my boss called the cops, and they escorted him to the edge of town and told him in no uncertain terms to never bother me again, and to never come back to that town again. I heard that they beat the living hell out of him, but I don’t know if that’s a fact or not.
A few years later, he showed up again at my grandmother’s house, and that time she only told him the state where I was living, nothing else, as she again pretended to not know. Sometimes I have to laugh when I imagine he’s going door to door throughout an entire state to find me again, LOL.
