Not Liveblogging American Idol

Tonight, due to circumstances beyond my control, I will not be liveblogging American Idol.
I know, I can feel your sorrow from here. 
My laptop is kaput until I get a new power cord, because one of my dogs chewed partially through it a while back (luckily he didn’t get electrocuted, because it was plugged in at the time) and we have repaired it repeatedly. However, it has finally given up the ghost, and after several days of messing with it, in the hopes that I could get a little bit more usage, I give up. I will thus have to get another power cord, and it seems that I will need to order it from the manufacturer.
I was putting off buying a new one because those replacement parts are incredibly expensive, and I am incredibly cheap.
This is also why I have not been doing much posting in the last few days, at least not on this blog. I have been posting on Last Free Voice, but that’s not a personal blog, it’s a libertarian website project I’m developing; feel free to take a look if you are interested.
I have a computer in my office (obviously) but I have a rule against using it for personal reasons, since that can easily become a distraction. Therefore, while I may make a post here and there, I will be posting only sporadically on my personal blog until I get the replacement cord for the laptop.
In the meantime, I’ll toss up some of the posts from my old Rampant Anti-PAMite blog. Hopefully you will enjoy them.
UPDATE: I just watched American Idol, and since it was Andrew Lloyd Weber night, I’m kind of glad I didn’t liveblog it, LOL
