Meme: Four Things

I was tagged by Dee.

Four things I was doing ten years ago:

1. Working in a law office, helping defend people accused of extremely serious crimes, like murder. Argh.

2. Taking care of my now-deceased husband.

3. Taking care of Elf. It’s hard to believe that he was only 11 then!

4. Attending Elf’s baseball and football games, and school events.

Four things I was doing five years ago:

1. Walking around on auto-pilot, still getting used to being widowed. You never really get used to it, incidentally.

2. Writing. A lot.

3. Investigating the murder case involving Mumia Abu-Jamal. He’s guilty as sin, by the way.

4. Taking care of Elf; 15 was a very hard age for him, especially since his dad had died only a year before.

Four things I am doing this year:

1. Getting my house ready to sell.

2. Finding another house, in another state; I haven’t decided where yet.

3. Leaving this godforsaken state behind forever, and never looking back.

4. Trying to figure out what to do next.

Four things I did yesterday:

1. Read a book

2. Cleaned the family room

3. Watched American Idol results show

4. Hung around the house

Four shows I like:

Four biggest joys of the moment:

1. The thought of moving out of Frickintardistan

2. Got Elf’s tickets reduced to only one, with a $100 fine

3. Tom and our dogs

4. Elf, as always
