I would be very interested to know if this dog’s owner knew the animal was that vicious. Surely they at least suspected it, because this is not at all normal behavior for a dog.
From MSNBC:
SEATTLE – A six-year-old Moses Lake boy was in serious condition Tuesday night after a pit bull pushed open a gate [...]

The judge in the case involving the nonstop protests in front of the Casey Anthony home has denied the injunction requested by their Homeowners’ Association, but not for the reason many may assume.
The HOA’s attorney was unable to give the statutory three days’ notice to the protesters, since they are not part of an organized [...]

When it comes to surviving open exposure in space, a tiny invertebrate now stands out: tardigrades, also known as “water-bears.”
These small, segmented animals not only survived a 12-day orbital expedition, some members of the community felled by solar radiation actually recovered upon their return to [...]

I had to write about this one, mostly because I chuckled at the nickname given to this master criminal by the press.
The “Butt Bandit” smears his derriere with petroleum jelly and lotion, then leaves the imprint of his buttocks on windows all over the small town of Valentine, Nebraska. He does the same thing with [...]

I haven’t said much about the protests going on at the home of Cindy and George Anthony, grandparents of missing child Caylee Anthony and parents of Caylee’s mother Casey. Except to note early on that it concerns me, and that it would get far worse, I’ve kept my thoughts to myself. I’m a [...]

Angela Keaton in comments:
Sullentrup, Flood, Starr, Karlan voted to remove me from the room. It failed.
The motion is to have me removed.
Sullentrup made a scene regarding my calling Knapp.
Referred to me as “swamp.” Or something. MO has weird terms.
